Mr. Kelly oversees a highly complex and diverse portfolio of real estate equity and debt investments in the development and pre-development stages, focusing on enhancing investment value and returns.
Mr. Kelly has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, working with a variety of product types and asset life cycles. He has direct experience in acquisition, underwriting, disposition, and asset management with equity investments, and additional experience with debt investments and real estate-owned portfolios. Before joining National, Mr. Kelly served in a variety of senior asset management roles, including most recently as an executive of Foulger-Pratt leading the asset management department along with oversight of property management for a commercial and residential portfolio totaling over 7 million square feet with a total capitalization over $2 Billion. Prior experience includes managing equity real estate investments seeking opportunistic returns while at The Carlyle Group and Wachovia, and loan workout/restructuring and debt asset management experience with Capital One, Allied Capital, and Criimi Mae.
Mr. Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mary Washington University.
