As part of the Portfolio and Asset Management team, Ms. Sharp is responsible for ESG data collection, management, analysis, and reporting to support the firm’s ESG program and to monitor its impact on fund performance. She works directly with asset managers to streamline property management operations and to implement ESG initiatives.
Ms. Sharp began her career with National in 2019 by providing administrative support services for National’s wholly-owned subsidiary, National Real Estate Development, LLC, in Philadelphia, PA. Before joining National, Anne had a career in horticulture and was the General Manager of a landscape company, overseeing project management and office administration for landscape design and installation services. Prior to, Anne held the position of Research and Development Manager for a wholesale plant nursery, supporting the sales, marketing, and production departments while managing the company’s plant propagation research. She also worked as a research aid for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service and as a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service.
Ms. Sharp earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Certificate in Project Management from The Project Management Institute and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS) from Oregon State University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Pennsylvania.
