National Real Estate Development Announces Promotion of Katie Hartley to Managing Director

National Real Estate Development, LLC (“National Development”), the independently operating development subsidiary of National Real Estate Advisors, LLC (“National”), is pleased to announce the promotion of Katherine (“Katie”) Hartley to managing director. In this role, Katie will lead the company’s operations, oversee ongoing projects, and spearhead the execution and sourcing of new development opportunities.

Since joining National in 2011, Hartley has played a pivotal role in the execution of millions of square feet of development across major U.S. markets such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Most recently, she led the capitalization and redevelopment of 1625 Massachusetts Ave., an office-to-residential conversion in Washington, D.C., which was the first recipient of the Housing in Downtown Tax Abatement program initiated by the city’s mayor. She was also instrumental in securing financing for the first phase of The Stacks, a more than 1 million-square-foot mixed-use development in Washington, D.C.

Throughout her tenure, Katie has remained committed to delivering value to investors, partners, and project stakeholders. She leads National Development’s staff with a hands-on approach, working closely with design, construction, and capital partners to ensure successful project execution.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban & Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia. Katie is a member of NAIOP, participating on the legislative committee, and Real Estate Group.
