Mr. Stalcup is responsible for assisting the Investment group in identifying specific equity and debt investment opportunities in institutional quality real estate, with a focus on development or redevelopment properties which vary widely in location, and supports transaction activity including originating, structuring, and underwriting.

Prior to joining National in 2015, Mr. Stalcup spent four years at Gensler as an Architectural Designer. He was responsible for the design and construction coordination of over 800,000 square feet of commercial office space in the Washington, D.C. area. He was also the recipient of the Michaux Family Premier MBA Fellowship at Kenan-Flagler Business School and served as a Fund Manager for the KFBSF Real Estate Funds, which had $8.1 million in committed capital across three fund vehicles.

Mr. Stalcup graduated with honors from the University of Virginia and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill.
