Working as part of the Human Resources team, Ms. Orellana provides core human resources and people operations services, as well as focusing on employee well-being, occupational health, safety and security, and business continuity planning.
Prior to joining National, Ms. Orellana was a Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager for Freshly / Nestle and the Food Authority, focusing on a variety of HR functions, such as onboarding, training program implementations, and HR strategy development to improve employee relations. Prior roles include the UN Refugee Agency (USA for UNHCR) and the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration where she performed employee payroll and benefit plan administration, staffing, and provided other core employment services.
Ms. Orellana earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a Master of Human Resources Management degree from University of Puerto Rico.
