Catalyst and National Announce Ocala Eye’s Expansion in The Villages

PENSACOLA, FL – Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate (Catalyst), a full-service healthcare real estate investment firm, and National Real Estate Advisors, LLC (National), an investment manager developing and managing large-scale real estate projects on behalf of its clients, announce the development of a 22,500 square foot (SF) medical office building and ambulatory surgery center for Ocala Eye.

Ocala Eye is an independent physician group with 13 ophthalmologists and 7 optometrists in the Central Florida region, making it the largest ophthalmologic physician group within 25 miles of Wildwood, Fl. This new development will be strategically positioned to accommodate the outpatient demands of The Villages and the surrounding communities.

This two-building facility will include 14,000 SF of clinical space for routine eye care services, and an 8,500 SF ambulatory surgery center for more intensive procedures and services. These services will expand and complement those offered at Ocala Eye’s other locations while creating more accessibility.

This new facility will allow us to better serve our patients in The Villages and offer more convenient care to those living in the southern part of The Villages,” said Zora Harrison, Chief Operating Officer of Ocala Eye. “We are even more thrilled to offer a surgery center, exclusively for Ocala Eye, which will let our patients have their surgeries closer to home as opposed to using our Ocala surgery center.”

With the accessibility to better routine eye care and complex procedures, this two-building facility will be the foundation for future patient treatment to remain in the Ocala Eye physician network.
