Mr. Verdi is a member of National’s Management Committee and reports directly to the President and CEO to lead, oversee, and develop strategies related to National’s investment operations.

Mr. Verdi is primarily responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s investment strategy, including managing all operations and activities related to identifying and investing in highly complex institutional quality, sustainable commercial real estate for client accounts, including organizing and actively participating in Investment Committee meetings.

Mr. Verdi has been at National for over 20 years, previously serving as Managing Director of Equity Investments, under the firm’s predecessor, NEBF Real Estate. He was formerly an Associate Director at GE Capital Real Estate and, prior to concentrating on commercial real estate, gained investment banking experience with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. and Prudential Securities.

Mr. Verdi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral and Social Sciences from the University of Maryland and holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from George Mason University.
