Manager, Real Estate Performance and Valuation

Ms. Reid is responsible for all quarterly real estate asset performance reporting and development and oversight of the valuation process of all real estate assets and investments to ensure that all properties are valued in a logical, consistent and accurate manner.

By applying specialized intellectual real estate investing and appraisal knowledge in negotiating valuations and managing relationships with external third party vendors, MAI appraisers and valuation consultants Mrs. Reid safeguards fair practices and compliance with the defined valuation process of the portfolio. She implements the system responsible for generating quarterly real estate asset performance reporting for the company’s open-end, commingled fund, and separate account. Previous roles and responsibilities have included underwriting and evaluating potential and existing real estate deals and overseeing and managing a portfolio of assets.

Before joining National, Ms. Reid was an Associate in Andersen Corporate Finance, LLC’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group. She was responsible for structuring complex transactions, preparing investment materials, financial modeling and researching and analyzing financial information, industry trends, and market conditions. Prior to joining Andersen in 1999, Ms. Reid worked in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation in Chicago, IL as a Corporate Finance Analyst, where she performed extensive valuation analysis for Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Reid earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with general honors from the University of Chicago. She has taken and passed both the Series 7 and Series 63 exams.
