Mr. Coté is General Manager of The Bloc, a 1.8 million-square-foot, mixed-use project in downtown Los Angeles, CA. He serves as the key point of contact, establishing relationships and providing strategic and financial oversight on all aspects of successful institutional quality leasing, property management, and promotions for the project. Working closely with the asset management, development, and construction teams, Mr. Coté is responsible for driving The Bloc’s operational success and maximizing investment performance.

Dan has over 30 years of experience managing real estate portfolios throughout the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining National, Dan held the position of Area Director at The RMR Group in Los Angeles, where he led a team in the management of a portfolio of 55 office buildings comprising over six million square feet. He was also responsible for managing broker relations, while supporting acquisitions and dispositions. Dan also held the position of Regional Manager at Piedmont Office Realty Trust in Irvine, CA, where he led a team in the management of a 21-office building portfolio with a combined square footage of over three million. Prior to this, Dan was Director of Asset Management, Property Management and Leasing at Savills Japan, where he co-managed an office of over 60 employees and shared the responsibility of establishing the Savills operation in Japan, including the setup of the company’s three offices and seven business lines. His other positions in the real estate industry include Portfolio Manager at GMAC Commercial Holding Asia, Asset Manager at CB Richard Ellis Investors, Property Manager and Marketing Director at Trammell Crow Company, and Property Accountant and Training Manager at Elcor Real Estate.

Mr. Coté holds a Master of Business Administration from The Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Telecommunications from Oral Roberts University.
