Ms. Chamberlain is responsible for day-to-day oversight and execution of all aspects throughout the development process on select National Real Estate Development projects. Ms. Chamberlain recently worked on a comprehensive renovation and refinance of the Sheraton Downtown Los Angeles. Upon completion of the renovation, the hotel was recognized as the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles, a higher echelon within the Sheraton Brand.
With a strong understanding of the entitlement, design, financing, leasing and construction processes, she provides support throughout each phase of development. Ms. Chamberlain is also tasked with primary communication responsibilities, both internally and with third parties, to effectively coordinate and execute on project schedules.
Ms. Chamberlain joined National Real Estate Advisors, National Development’s parent company, in 2011, working as an analyst providing market research and investment underwriting support. In 2013, when National Development was formed, she was brought over to work as a Development Associate and promoted to Development Manager in 2014.
Ms. Chamberlain is a lifelong resident of Arlington, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Urban & Environmental Planning, a BA in Economics as well as a minor in Architecture. Previously, she worked at Fairfax County’s Department of Planning and Zoning and held internships at two local architecture firms: KishimotoGordonDalaya and Devereaux and Associates. Ms. Chamberlain is also a member of CREW Washington, DC, ICSC and ULI.
