Ms. Border, a member of National's Management Committee, is responsible for advancing and overseeing the firm’s relationships with institutional investors across the U.S. and abroad.
She aids in the creation of new investment products, presentation materials, and also manages the investor relations team. In addition to these responsibilities, she works closely with the portfolio and asset management and valuation and performance reporting teams to analyze fund and asset level performance. Ms. Border is the primary contact for National’s investment clients and prospects.
Ms. Border’s professional experience includes ten years within private sector real estate and finance. During her career, she has held positions at Hunt Investment Management and The Townsend Group where she was responsible for assisting institutional clients in developing investment objectives, strategic planning, underwriting investments, and capital raising. Ms. Border also worked for Bancshares of Florida, Inc. and for Larson Allen, LLC.
She earned two Master of Science degrees in Finance and Real Estate and Construction Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver. She has a dual Bachelor of Science degree from Western State College in Accounting and Business Administration. She is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Commercial Real Estate Women, and Pension Real Estate Association. Ms. Border also sits on the advisory board for IREI-VIP Americas.
