Peter Epstein works closely with senior development professionals to expedite and ensure project completion according to specifications by participating in and supporting the selection of financial sources, structuring deals, negotiating legal documents, and architectural and construction planning.
Mr. Epstein focuses on the retail and office development activities of the East Market project in Philadelphia, PA. In his role, Mr. Epstein brings his experience in planning and construction management to national retailers, and his background in architecture and design help create an exciting combination of pedestrian-oriented retail, restaurant, and office spaces, within the context of the larger mixed-use project.
Prior to joining National, Mr. Epstein began his career as a Junior Architect with Kohn Pederseon Fox Associates in New York, NY and progressed in his career to a Senior Manager, Store Planning with Tiffany & Co., overseeing new store and flagship renovation projects from documentation through construction for the luxury retailer, including the open-store, phased renovation of their existing flagship store in Union Square, San Francisco. Prior to that, Mr. Epstein worked as a Construction Project Manager for Urban Outfitters, Inc., overseeing the buildout of numerous new Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie stores in both street and retail environments, including their new concept 25,000 sf mixed-use flagship project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which incorporated a full service bar, restaurant, and roof deck.
Mr. Epstein earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. Mr. Epstein is also a licensed and registered architect with the American Institute of Architects in the state of New York.
