Mr. Hudnut oversees the day-to-day development activities of The Bloc project in downtown Los Angeles, working closely with senior professionals to expedite and assure project completion according to specifications. Mr. Hudnut participates in the selection of financial sources, negotiates legal documents, architectural and construction contracts and execution. In his role, Mr. Hudnut brings experience with large mixed-use projects in major urban markets to help create an exciting combination of pedestrian-oriented retail, new residential rental apartments, office, hotel, parking, and state-of-art digital signage.
Mr. Hudnut joined National from The Ratkovich Company in Los Angeles, CA, where he served as a Development Manager and Acquisitions Associate. While there, he was responsible for the oversight of mixed-used investments such as The San Pedro Public Market located on the Los Angeles waterfront and The Bloc project. Prior to that, Mr. Hudnut worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co as an Associate, Investment Management, managing over $500 million in assets and a new business development initiative. Mr. Hudnut was a member of the United States National Water Polo Team for twelve years and is a two-time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medalist.
Mr. Hudnut earned a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Stanford University.
