Mr. French is responsible for monitoring day-to-day construction activities on the East Market project in Philadelphia working closely with senior-level construction professionals to ensure construction meets standards and time frames within cost estimates.
Prior to joining National Development, Mr. French worked for seven years with Clark Construction Group, LLC focusing on federal construction projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including Constitution Square, the new headquarters for the National Geospatial Agency in Springfield, Virginia and a mission critical government facility in Ft. Meade, Maryland where he was project manager. In this role, Mr. French served as the principal company representative responsible for project administration, finances, owner relationships, and staff assignment/training. During his career with Clark, Mr. French was also involved with various preconstruction efforts providing estimating and purchasing services for future projects. In addition, he served as a mentor and instructor for the company helping new hires develop their professional skills.
Mr. French holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Engineering from Washington & Lee University and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.
