Human Resources Manager

Ms. Smith is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and recordkeeping of the human resources and administrative department, to include talent management, compensation and benefits, risk management, employee and labor relations, workforce planning and employment, policies and procedures, safety and security, and ESG initiatives.

Prior to joining National, Ms. Smith served as Human Resources Manager with Andrews Federal Credit Union, where she was responsible for managing the organization’s Human Resources programs and policies. Previously, she worked with Universal Services Administrative Company as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, primarily responsible for benefit administration, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and compliance and risk management.

Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College, in addition to the Work-Life Certified Professional (WLCP) designation. She has over 14 years of human resources experience and is a member of SHRM and WorldatWork.
