Mr. Dylus joins National Real Estate Development after a long career as a senior executive with the Clark Construction Group.
While at Clark, Mr. Dylus had assignments in base building operations, pre-construction, estimating, legal and risk management. Mr. Dylus has extensive experience in office, hotel, apartment and condominium construction, negotiating contracts for several thousand units. Later, Mr. Dylus joined ING Real Estate Development as its Senior Vice President of Construction. With large pension and sovereign wealth funds as its clients, ING invested equity capital in ground up development projects throughout the United States.
Based in Washington, DC, Mr. Dylus provides construction management expertise in support of National’s development portfolio. Mr. Dylus also provides construction-related oversight and due diligence services related to National’s joint venture equity and debt investments in development projects across the U.S.
Mr. Dylus graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the School of Civil Engineering. He has previously been a featured speaker at the Urban Land Institute on the topic of the contractor’s role in the development process and served for three years as a commissioner on the City of Frederick, Maryland’s Historic Preservation Board.
